Jaarsma Bakery recently received three top accolades in the Best of the Red Rock Area contest. These awards include: Best Sweet Treat, Best Place to Purchase Locally Made Items and one of the Top 10 Best Places for Food and Drink.

The contest, sponsored by the Marion County Development Commission, allows residents and recent visitors to vote on top entities in the Marion Country area. This includes Lake Red Rock, Pella, Knoxville, Pleasantville and Melcher-Dallas. Contest categories include food, places, entertainment and recreation, shopping and community.
